Native dish review of the Muggio Valley
To enjoy a typical Muggio Valley dish, we recommend attending the Native Dish Review held in the valley every year at the turn of November and December.
The gastronomic compositions offered by the various haunts (restaurants, taverns, grotti, trattorias and agritourisms) are based on traditional recipes and ingredients: in addition to cazöla, roast suckling pig, donkey stew, pork shank, veal ossobuco, stewed rooster and rabbit, polenta and“rustisciada” it is also possible to enjoy game and more.
Always present are the renowned cheeses and Zincarlin produced in the Muggio Valley.
By filling out a postcard, all participants in the review can enter a contest that offers a travel voucher as a prize; in addition, combined with each hangout, there is a chance to win a prize with local products from the Muggio Valley.
