Feast of St. Joseph in Ligornetto

On March 19, as every year, just at the beginning of spring, the traditional festival of St. Joseph will be renewed.
Numerous worshippers and just as many tourists will animate the churchyard of the small church dedicated to the saint from the early morning hours, browsing among the many stalls where everything from sweets and delicatessen to fabrics, flowers and toys for children can be found.

The most devout, as well as many curious people, will visit the beautiful church, attending Mass and praying to the patron saint.
Then on the surrounding lawn the celebration will continue cheered by the Municipal Philharmonic and complemented by tasty food.
There will be no shortage of traditional tortelli, prepared according to an ancient recipe and now famous throughout the Canton.
