For years COOPERATION has featured a Ticino restaurant or grotto almost every week. When our author (F.Q.) goes to restaurants throughout Italian Switzerland, he does so completely anonymously, pays the bill and writes his journalistic piece. Thus there was no shortage of phone calls from restaurateurs and managers thanking for the review, but they would have gladly gotten to know the reviewer. We always answer no: gastronomy is a sensitive sector and we prefer to avoid privileged relationships in order to try to give voice to a ‘normal customer hypothesis.
In short, we want to propose a guide that is honest and made from the heart. With the heart of one who (F.Q.) loves good food, good nectars, and also Ticino and Mesolcina landscapes.
