The book, aimed at restaurant professionals and those who know how to appreciate gastronomic delicacies, was produced in collaboration with the Department of Finance and Economy of Canton Ticino and BSI International Private Banking.

Agricultural specialties are complemented by the preservation and promotion activities of the Canton Agricultural Section, the Mezzana Agricultural School, useful tables with hundreds of producers. The illustrations are from BING, Bibliothèque international de gastronomie in Lugano, Sorengo and the Ticino Turismo archive.
