From the origins

Antico Grotto Ticino is located in the street of the Cantine del Borgo in Mendrisio.

The grotto, built over a century ago but recently modernized, has well-distributed spaces both inside and outside. The wine cellar is dug into a limestone rock that provides excellent conditions for maintaining the many bottles of wine.
